PALSULE OUT AT SAGE; BOKO ALSO Featured

Himanshu Palsule,  Sage North AmericaHimanshu Palsule is leaving Sage North American next month after serving as chief technology officer and head of strategy since July 2012. Meanwhile, Sage confirmed that Gabrielle Boko, EVP of global brand experience is gone as well. Palsule has been with the company since 1997, joining Best Software which was then purchased by Sage in 2000. The departure was announced to the channel this week. In a prepared statement, Palsule said, "After many wonderful years at Sage, it is time for me to say goodbye as I start a new journey."

Chief revenue officer Rich Spring said in an announcement to the channel that Sage will seek a replacement. Juan Rodriguez will serve as an interim person in the spot. Rodriguez is EVP of operations and global product delivery. Boko joined the company as EVP and regional CMO Marketing, North America, in July 2013. Palsule's departure leaves Connie Certusi, who runs the small business software group, as the only exec with decades with the company. She started with Sage in 1995. Before joining Best, Palsule was VP and GM products and technology with Open Systems from 1993 through 1997.
