SAGE PICKS BRAND EVP Featured

Van Diamandakis, Sage Sage has named Van Diamandakis EVP of brand. And while the software company said this is "next stage of its global marketing plans", I believe we have been here before. After heading North American market for two years, Gabrielle Boko was EVP of global brand experience at Sage from July through December 2015. She surfaced in January at HP Enterprise.

Most recently, Diamandakis was chief marketing officer at Corvil Networks in Dublin, Ireland, where he worked from February 2014 until taking the new job. He moved from the San Francisco, Calif., area, to Dublin to take that job, and the Sage position therefore, is a bit of a homecoming as his LinkedIn page shows him as based there. Before that, he was CMO at Joyent, also in the San Francisco, area, from March 2012 through February 2014. He was VP of corporate marketing at another Bay-area company, ServiceSource from February 2010 through March 2012. He reports to Sage CMO Santiago Solanas Ruiz "In developing the overall marketing vision and strategy for the Sage brand, leading on all aspects of brand strategy; positioning, portfolio and brand architecture and strategic commercial planning," according to the official press release. Along with providing effusive description of its actions and plans, the company said, "it is currently recruiting for 100 additional roles across digital, demand generation, social and communications."
