SAGE CHOSES EUROPEAN EVP Featured

Jacqueline de Rojas, SageThe Sage Group has picked Jacqueline de Rojas as EVP of North Europe in what the software company described as an extended role. She is scheduled to join the company in the fall and lead its business in the United Kingdom and Ireland. Is the United Kingdom part of Europe? There seems to be some doubt. Anyway, she was previously area VP for Northern Europe for Citrix from July 2014.

Before that, she was VP for the U .K. and Ireland for CA Technologies from February 2012 through March 2014. CEO Steve Kelly said in a prepared statement that de Rojas will "re-energise our business across this crucial region". It's interesting to suggest that the company needs to be re-energized in its home country. De Rojas has been active in promoting women in the technology business and from April 2013 through July 2015 she was deputy president and board champion for women in technology for techUK, a consortium of companies whose goal is to promote the development of technology in the U.K. and promote the country as a technology leader.
