NETSUITE REPORTS QUIETLY Featured

Zach Nelson, NetSuite NetSuite sort of snuck its financial report for the September quarter into the world. Given its pending acquisition by Oracle there was no conference call and I didn't get any emails. Well, the trends continued with revenue for the third quarter ended September 30 up 26 percent rising to $243.9 million from $192.8 million in last year's corresponding period.

The net loss of $34.1 million in the most recently ended period, down a half percent from $37.4 million. NetSuite's press release was barebones—no quotes from executives; no CEO Zach Nelson bashing competitors. There were two revenue categories reported. Recurring revenue from subscription and support reached $190 million, an increase of 23 percent from $154.7 million in last year's corresponding period. Non-recurring revenue from professional services and other sources was $53.9 million, up 41 percent from $38.2 million a year earlier.
