DYNAMICS CERTIFICATION BOOMS Featured

Joe Carroll, Association of Dynamics ProfessionalsIt's a bit more than a year since the first independent testing for Dynamics certification was conducted. In that time, 323 exams have been completed with a pass rate of 63 percent, according to Joe Carroll, executive director of the Association of Dynamics Professionals.

That is since the first 24 individuals passed the tests in the September 2015. Carroll expects the pace to continue. "In 2017 we expect to maintain a growth rate of 250 percent and deliver at least four advanced exams and introduce Master Certification for Dynamics," he said. The group, also known as DynamicsPro, offers the tests that can lead to the certification in Dynamics software. Testing began last year on Dynamics GP core financials, GP installation and configuration, and Dynamics NAV core applications setup. Just over a month ago, DynamicsPro linked with Cirrus Assessment and ProctorU to provide testing. Cirrus offers testing in the cloud while ProctorU watches candidates take exams online via webcams and screen-sharing technology so that candidates can participate without going to another site. Credentials are offered internationally and so far have been awarded in the United States and in Australia, Canada, Colombia, Denmark, Dominican Republic, Iceland, India, Lithuania, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. Program sponsors include Tribridge, RSM, Sikich, InterDyn BMI, ArcherPoint, Innovia Consulting and Boyer & Associates.
