SAGE: 2017 A BIG YEAR FOR BOTS Featured

Stephen Kelley, SageSage this month showed its 12-month product road at the home country version of its Summit conference in the United Kingdom. While there were the U.K-0nly products, the company's update of its three global products, Sage One, Live and X-3, presumably has worldwide consequences.

The other interesting thing pointed out about the get-together was CEO Stephen Kelly phoned it in via video which follows his also not being present for the CEO Circle's event in Costa Rica after saying he would. Well, CEOs get busy. On the product front, artificial intelligence is big. A major part of that, presumably, is Pegg, the company's messaging bot. Pegg developments come in the following way: Q1 Pegg framework launch; Q2 Pegg Sage One for the United States, U.K. and Brazil; Q3, Pegg Voice, Alexa; Q4, multi-lingual bots. A new user experience update for Sage Live also appear significant. That is coming in the second quarter, utilizing Salesforce.com Lightning, which is based on the Salesforce App Cloud and incorporates three elements: Lightning Design System, App Builder and Components. Inventory features are being introduced in Live in Q3 and Q4, with Salesforce Wave analytics to be added in Q3. X-3 gets a Salesforce CRM connector in Q2. In fact, the X-3 elements look very significant with shop floor tracking; a project management module for manufacturing, logistics-lot tracking and Inventory Multi-Control.
