ACUMATICA TOTALS SIGNINGS
Acumatica signed several new VARS in the last week although the announcement was geared more at promoting the fact the company had signed 100 in its current push. The company continues to do well in signing Dynamics SL VARs since its architecture has a Solomon heritage. The latest include Exponential Consulting of Leesburg, Va., and Accountnet, a New City reseller, both which handle Dynamics GP and SL.
Nuevo, Calif.-based DimeSoft Business Ventures has a much different profile. Its Web page shows it offers Everest Advanced Accounting, a unit of which little has been heard since its acquisition by Versata in Aug. 7, 2009. Everest is still there, but it hasn’t had any announcements since. DimeSoft also handles another SaaS system, the Interprise Suite Accounting System. Interprise has been a little less quiet, but spent much of 2010 involved in a spin out/buy out move that seemed to absorb a lot of energy. Mississauga-based Data Ventures sells Dynamics SL and NAV. Acumatica also announced a once-more important partner, Stanley Stuart Yoffee & Hendrix, an SL dealer which has faded from view since Reagan Stanley and David Yoffee stepped away from the company in October 2009. There was no publicity issued between that month and one on November 5, 2010 when the company said it had received gold status for a competency in ERP. It also announced SBS Group, one of its larger recruits, although that company had announced itself in 2010.
