SAGE OPTS FOR NO BIG SHOW Featured

SageSage has decided to hold 10 regional meetings called Sage Sessions. The smaller events replace the usual Sage Summit with a cast of thousands. Sage has announced the Sessions as part of its Sage Summit Tour noting, "This year, in lieu of one big event, we'll take the tour on the road to get closer to you and your customers on your home turf."

There is something to be said for wondering how big the vendor shows should become although I'm not sure Summit was at the limit. The metric that determines Sage's commitment to the small-show approach is likely to be how much it will spread its executive time across the continent. The Sage decathlon will involve six cities in the United States and four in Canada. The only firm date announced is Los Angeles, Calif., for February 13. The rest of the schedule is defined only by month s follows: Chicago, Ill., April; Toronto, Ont., May; Dallas, Texas, May; Atlanta, Ga., June; Montreal, Que., June; Edmonton, Alta., July; New York, N.Y., July; Seattle, Wash. August; and Vancouver, B.C., September.
