“We wanted the name to emphasize what the product will deliver to our customers through a more direct and intuitive name,” Warren Linscott, Deltek’s SVP of product strategy said in a prepared statement. Deltek says the new release will have a new interface to enable users to type or speak requests. The product's Artificial Intelligence interpreter enables commands to execute tasks. Vantagepoint is described as giving users the ability to manage an entire project lifecycle. Deltek says the new release will be featured at its Insight 2018 user conference November 5 through 8.
