SALESFORCE EMBRACES APPLE Featured

Marc Benioff, SalesforceSalesforce has agreed to support Apple’s iOS for its CRM application. The companies announced at this week’s Dreamforce conference, Salesforce is redesigning its application to take provide “exclusive new features” on the mobile platform.

The deal was outlined by Apple CEO Tim Cooke and Salesforce co-CEO  Marc Benioff. The partner companies will also provide developers with a new Salesforce Mobile SDK for iOS, and a new iOS App Development course on Trailhead, Salesforce's free, web-based learning platform. Salesforce said its work will provide access to Apple capabilities such as Siri Shortcuts, Face ID and Business Chat for both iPhone and iPad users. To support developers, Apple is launching Get Started with iOS App Development Trail to teach how to build native iOS apps in Xcode with Swift.
