SERENIC SIGNS OVERSEAS VARS
Nonprofit vendor Serenic is continuing to build its international channel. It hadn’t issued a press release about a new VAR since May last year when it added the Touchstone Group in the United Kingdom. But it has already made two such announcements in 2011 with the enlistment of another U.K. dealer Probitas, and Cherry-T in the Netherlands.
(The press release notes the Dutch company’s name is pronounced “charity”. Ugh.) Serenic had an in with Probitas as its South Africa subsidiary was using Serenic Navigator. In February 2010, Serenic had signed Send It South, a South African company, to resell there. What I don’t see from the Serenic press list is that the company has mentioned signing any resellers in the United States, since the software operation company into the ownership of a public company in 2008.
