QUICKBASE BUYS CLOUD PIPES Featured

Quick Base will be able to directly integrate with financial and CRM applications as a result of its acquisition of Cloudpipes, the company said this week. Quick Base will begin releasing a combined low-code development platform this year as a result.

New features will include a visual integration builder, workflow engine and the ability to connect applications behind the firewall to other cloud services. “This acquisition significantly speeds up our product roadmap to deploy a platform that fully integrates with other business applications, connects data from legacy systems, and offers robust native automation tools,” Jay Jamison, chief product and technology officer of Quick Base, said in a prepared statement.  Quick Base will support all existing customers of Cloudpipes, which is based in London, England, and Sofia, Bulgaria. Existing capabilities such as Quick Base Sync, Quick Base Automations, Workato and other partner integrations “will continue to solve customer challenges with no immediate impact on current Quick Base offerings,” the company said in a press release.
