The change was effective immediately as was the naming of four new leaders. Phillips came to Infor from Oracle and immediately hired three more Oracle executives to senior positions. Of those, only COO Pam Murphy is still with the company. Former co-presidents Duncan Angove and Stephen Scholl who left last year. They grew the company significantly and polished a somewhat tarnished reputation. Interestingly, three of the five executives moving up this week worked for Infor before Phillips arrived. Samuelson has had two tenures at Infor; the first from 2002 through 2013, serving as CFO from 2011 to 2013. He turned in that position in 2016. Taking Samuelson’s spot as CFO is chief accounting officer Jay Hopkins, who has been with the company since February 2009. Soma Somasundaram, who has been with Infor since January 2005, moved into the newly created position of president of product while keeping his chief technology role. Cormac Watters, who joined as EVP and general manager of EMEA in December 2017, has been named GM and head of international markets. Rod Johnson was promoted to GM, head of Americas. He was hired in June 2018 as EVP of manufacturing and supply chain of the Infor Nexus Business Unit.
