He was previously Aktion’s SCU unit manager from January 2013 until taking the new position this month. The recent creation of the division and Black’s promotion reflects Aktion’s growth, the firm said. The Multi-Industry Division includes construction, distribution and manufacturing. The announcement singled out Acumatica Construction Edition, Acumatica Cloud ERP for Distribution and Acumatica Manufacturing Edition as the software being used by the unit. Black's duties include employee on-boarding and training, and practice sales and service growth.  Prior to joining Aktion, Black was president of Piranha Hose Products from March 2004 through October 2006.
