Deltek has hired Caleb Merriman as its new chief information security officer. He is replacing Deborah Fitzgerald who is leaving the company at the end of March.

The company said Fitzgerald, who has been with Deltek since 2009, is exiting to spend more time with her family. Merriman was most recently VP of information security, risk and compliance with Guidewire Software where he worked from September 2016 through last month. Before that, he was EVP and chief security officer for BBVA Compass from August 2015 through August 2016. Fitzgerald joined the software company as chief information officer and then became CISO in October. She came to Deltek from Verisign where she was a VP from November 2005 through October 2009.
