COVID-19 CUTS INTO PRODWARE REVS Featured

The coronavirus outbreak hindered results for France-based reseller Prodware said this week. The company noted a slump in integration and consulting services as it reported results for the first quarter ended March 31.

The company had revenue of roughly $50 million for the most recently ended quarter, a 1.4-percent increase over a year earlier. Prodware called the numbers “commendable results, despite the dire economic situation since March 2020.” SaaS sales of approximately $17.4 million were 28.2-percent higher than in last year’s corresponding period helped the overall outcome. License sales, which represent 34 percent of revenue, rose 3.3 percent to about $17.4 million. Customers postponing project and singing of new deals because of March lockdown in Europe resulted in a 6.7-percent decline of integration and consulting services to about $24.6 million Prodware is a Dynamics and Sage reseller. The company had an optimistic view for the future. In its prepared statement, Prodware said,  “Beyond the short-term effects of this crisis, the Group expects to see a sustainable pick-up in the growth of digital, which permeates considerably across all businesses, “
