REINVIGORATING DYNAMICS SALES?

dynamics logo newSpecial offers are hardly unusual.  But the language accompanying Microsoft’s recent effort certainly is an eye-catcher. A blog posting said that company was announcing “that seek to aggressively reinvigorate ERP new business growth …” Technically, that phrase was applied to the Give me 5 Offer, which was accompanied by the LMT offer.
The posting by Kristi Hofer, national Microsoft Dynamics ERP channel manager, said Microsoft was also launching substantial partner incentives. Maybe Microsoft didn’t mean to suggest that there’s a shortage of new business buyers for ERP software. But it’s hard not to read it that way. The Give Me 5 deal offers five users for $3,000. This applies to Dynamics GP, NAV and SL and both advanced management and business essentials for customers who have not owned a Dynamics ERP product. The deal started on October 3 and runs until June 22. Users must buy a one-year Business Ready Enhancement at a five-user list price. Resellers can get rebate checks in August starting at $25,000 for 20 to 29 adds and rising to $60,000 for more than 50 adds. Microsoft also will provide a $5,000 Q2 Kicker Rebate for those who drive more than 10 customer adds during the current quarter and also get more than 20 adds by the end of the campaign.
