This is only the second time Infor has released information about financial results. Last year, it gave out actual revenue for the fiscal year, but this time it offered only the EBITDA margins beyond the percentage change in revenue. The company added 2,500 customers in 2011 to what it said was an installed base of 12,000 customers and added that its support program picked up more than support program 500 drop outs. Infor carried through with announced hiring plans, having added 500 software engineers last year, and said it would sign up 75 more developers in its Innovation Center, which will be housed at the company's new headquarters in New York City. Infor has become a different kind of company under CEO Charles Phillips and his gang of Oracle expatriates in the executive suite; one that at communicates and in my humble opinion, is a lot more trustworthy. Phillips said he was "excited" about the prospects for 2012. What a surprise. Gee, what executive is not exited about what the company is doing?

INFOR REPORTS LICENSES UP 16 PERCENT
Infor has reported 16-percent license growth for its second quarter, which ended in November. The company also said that EBITDA margins improved to 27 percent with new customer additions and support subscriptions having accelerated. The company, which was once completely quiet about results, said its core ERP business for the second quarter was up 25 percent over the prior year.
