DRUKER LEAVES INTACCT

Dan DrukerDan Druker has left Intacct where he served as chief marketing officer and SVP of marketing and business development. Druker's departure was not announced by the San Jose, Calif.-based company.
However, his web page shows him as having been employed at the Internet application vendor from September 2007 through February 2012. Even though Taylor Macdonald is more widely known in the channel, Druker was very much the public face of the company in the last two years. Druker came to Intacct from Postini after it was acquired by Google in 2007. He was EVP of global marketing there. Intacct says there is no immediate replacement ready to step in. This is fueling the speculation that Intacct and Intuit are doing a mating dance because of Intuit's endorsement of the Intacct online accounting product as the right choice for users graduating from QuickBooks. Not that I expect anyone to comment meaningfully on this, but you have to wonder.
