DELTEK CEO'S PAY DROPS

Kevin Parker, DeltekA $1 million-dollar drop in the equity awards led to a 27.8 percent fall in compensation for Deltek CEO for 2011. Parker earned $3.2 million for the most recent year, down from $4.1 million in 2010. The decline stemmed entirely from the change equity awards to just over $2 million from $3.1 million the prior year.
The equity cut also impacted compensation for CFO Michael Corkery, who received $885,831 in 2011, down from $960,281. Change in the executive ranks mean there were no other current office holders who had reported income for both years. Hugo Dorph, who came aboard via the Maconomy purchase in 210, left his position as EVP and GRM of professional services on February 1. He received $2.1 million for the year.  Namita S. Dhallan, EVP of product strategy and engineering received $839,085, but was not previously a named executive. The same was the case with Garland Hall EVP of customer care. Carolyn J. Parent, former EVP and GM of the GovCon business, got $891,254 in 2011, compared to $1.2 million in 2010, but that was exit money as she left early in the year. Her replacement, Tom Mazich, was not made a named executive. Dorph was the guy that Deltek moved to the U.S. from Denmark under a two-year contract that was scheduled to expire in December. You might remember that his package include $4,468 for pet air fare, up to $16,000 for language training and up to $4,000 for cultural training. It also included there’s up to $104,595 to send him and everything back to Denmark with $43,335 to send the furniture back across the Atlantic. There’s been no news on Dorph’s exit outside of the proxy that I can find. He hasn’t even changed his LinkedIn page.
