Pronto has a handful of North American resellers and does not seem to be on a course that would rapidly expand that. Before the latest gig, he spent 10 years at Vision Systems where he was an MIS manager. In the new job, he will lead Pronto’s Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane branches. Morton will also work on future growth strategy and enhanced service delivery to Australian customers. Morton has worked at Pronto Software since 2008. The company pitches its modular line, Pronto XI to several industries, including automotive, mining wholesale distribution, service,  industrial machinery, chemicals and others. Maybe COO applies differently in Australian companies. However, nothing in the press release announcing Morton's new position suggests the company is active elsewhere.
