TRIBRIDGE TOP DYNAMICS VAR AGAIN

Tony DiBenedetto, TribridgeTribridge topped the Dynamics channel as it was named this week Dynamics Outstanding Partner of the Year. It is the third time it has received the award in the last five times that honor has been given. The Miami, Fla.-based VAR also achieved the honor in 2008 and 2010.

I would think that CEO Tony DiBenedetto should feel pretty good about winning every other year in a channel this competitive. The company passed the $100 million-a-year revenue mark with its acquisition of the former ePartners and it is one of three Microsoft Master VARs, although it's hard to see what that has added to the business. Among the big misses this year, was Atlanta-based Ibis which did not make either Inner Circle or the President's Club. The Interdyn Group, which did not get an Inner Circle slot, placed four of its members - AKA, Artis, Cargas and Socius - in the President's Club. Twenty-five members of the President's Club were in Bob Scott's Top 100 VARs. That's counting as one all the units of companies like Tectura and Columbus that were individually given the Microsoft award. Also rejoining the club was the TM Group of Farmington Hills, Mich., which missed for the first time last year after 20 consecutive years in the President's Club.
