SAP WIDENS BIZOBJECTS CHANNEL

SAP logoSAP has expanded its PartnerEdge channel program to enable resellers to handle its BusinessObjects business intelligence software. The initiative is kicking off in China and will be rolled out in phases to other geographies. Previously, the channel interested in BI had been limited to selling Crystal Solutions. But under the new program, resellers that are sponsored by an SAP-endorsed local distributor can handle BusinessObjects.

VARs must also meet minimum requirements that include signing a partnering agreement and fulfilling the product authorization. The program has no membership fees and product education is provided at no cost. Members also receive access to the SAP Channel Partner Portal site and online tools such as partner-specific resources, marketing tools and collateral.
