ACUMATICA SUPPORTS AZURE

acumatica logoAcumatica has added the ability to deploy its applications on Windows Azure Virtual Machines as well as on Amazon Web Services. The company has provided installation wizards for cloud IaaS, Microsoft's Infrastructure as a Service offering, so that customers can follow instructions to deploy Acumatica to their chosen cloud provider

Acumatica SaaS is available for those who want to rent software without managing the application or infrastructure while in an IaaS deployment users buy a license for the software and select a provider to run in the cloud. With SaaS, customers need a browser and an Internet connection to run the application on the Azure platform. With IaaS, Acumatica includes images for deploying on Azure, Amazon Web Services and most other cloud providers utilizing the Application Packaging Standard (APSstandard.org). Also this week, Acumatica and Accellos announced integration between Acumatica Cloud ERP and AccellosOne Cloud WMS. The interface uses Acumatica Web service integration tools and also certain extensions to the ERP package via Acumatica Studio. The extensions facilitate immediate information transfers between ERP and WMS. The interface supports multiple companies, multiple warehouse operations and the information flows for the Item Master, Inbound/Purchase Orders, Outbound Shipments and Inventory Adjustments. The company also provided a preview of Acumatica 4.0 at its Summit conference this week. Enhancements included improvement navigation and dashboards improved cash flow forecasting, deductible VAT support, and unified voucher entry, along with additional shippers, automated fulfillment, and enhanced replenishment based on sales history for the Distribution Suite. There is also address verification and cleaning, improved email integration, Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 support, and SQL 2012 performance optimization.
