SAGE VAR SWK TO BUY ISM

Stuart Blumenthal, ISMSWK Technologies, a Livingston, N.J.-based Sage reseller, is making a major move in the channel with the planned purchase of Information Systems Management. SWK said buying Portland, Ore.-based ISM will add more than $6 million in annual revenue to its results. ISM also has offices in San Diego, San Francisco and the Washington D.C. metro area.

The target company had $5.7 million in revenue in 2011, and is expected to book about $6.2 million in sales in 2012 this year. ISM was founded in 2001. ISM is led by B.J. O'Reilly, president and principal, and Stuart Blumenthal, VP and owner. SWK is moving quickly up the ladder as a major Sage reseller. Its parent SilverSun Technologies had $10.5 million in revenue for 2011, all from SWK. The New Jersey organization expected to pick up about $3 million in income from its purchase of the failed Hightower operation. It would appear SWK is on a $20 million-year run rate. For 2011, SWK was No. 34 on Bob Scott's Top 100 VAR list and ISM was No. 58.
