PRODWARE BUYS ALL QURIUS UNITS

qurius logoProdware, a French Dynamics reseller, has acquired all of the operating companies of Qurius, the Netherlands Dynamics  reselling company that has been liquidating its operations. With conditions in Europe weak, Qurius started on a steep downward slide when it found its German operations were unraveling and it dismissed its director there.

But that did not in time for Qurius, a one-time Microsoft worldwide partner of the year,  to avoid the decision that liquidation was the only viable choice. Qurius, already allied to Prodware, sold its companies in Germany and the United Kingdom to its partner and then followed with an agreement for the sale of the Netherlands and Czech units and its QIPtree development operation. That deal is expected to close before 2013. Qurius, which is now a shell company, put itself on the block but turned to Prodware when other bids were lower. The original plan was to sell the German and U.K. units for about $7.7 million in cash and Prodware shares.
