ADAPTIVE PLANNING NAMES CFO

David Pefley, Adaptive Planning Adaptive Planning has named David Pefley as CFO. Pefley takes over from founder Robert Hull who has been cutting back the number of titles that he holds. That includes shedding the CEO position last fall when the company hired John Herr for that Job. Hull still holds the title of president. Pefley joins the maker of on line budgeting software after serving a year as a consultant.
From 2008 through 2010, he was CFO at Virtutech, a venture capital-backed electronics virtualization software and services company acquired by Intel. From 2001 through 2008, he was CFO and board member at Yield Dynamics, a semiconductor and flat panel display yield management software company acquired by MKS Instruments. His prior position was as VP of finance at Aspect Development, an eCommerce software company acquired by i2 Technologies.
