Oleg Shaikhatarov, AcumaticaAcumatica has named Oleg Shaikhatarov as VP of Engineering. The new executive, operating from the company’s development office in Moscow, Russia, reports to Yury Larichev, who recently moved from the COO job to the CEO slot. The company said Shaikhatarov will work with Acumatica founder and chief technology officer Mike Chtchelkonogov.

Shaikhatarov was previously with the research lab at Parallels, which he joined in 1999. Since 2000, he had been responsible for billing and automation products. Acumatica said he had managed teams of more than 50 engineers and was involved in quality assurance, product development, maintenance, third-line support, custom development and customer implementations,
