AVALARA SIGNS A BUNCH
Sales-and-use tax provider Avalara has been busy enlisting more partners through alliances with OEMs and integrations with other applications. Late in February, it signed Dynamicweb North America as a solution partner. That means the maker of eCommerce and content management products is integrating Avalara's products directly into its system. Early this month, it announced its certification of the Oracle E-Business Suite integration for AvaTax, offered via the MuleSoft integration platform.
A day later, Avalara said it had certified GoECart’s ecommerce and order management software for AvaTax. And this week, Avalara said its products are available to customers of LiveGamer, which makes e-commerce products for the gaming and digital entertainment industries, for use with international sales tax and VAT. We're likely to hear much more on the OEM and integration front. Before he left for England to run the Avalara expansion in Europe this year, VP Marshal Kushniruk said the company planned to expand these relationships "exponentially in 2013" in Europe in the same way it has in the United States.
