ALFAPEOPLE MOVES INTO ASIA Featured

Anas Al-Khalili, AlfapeopleRetail specialist Alfapeople has opened three offices in its move into Asia. The company has established a presence in China, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. Heading the office in Shanghai, China is GM and shareholder Kenric Lee, former country manager for Tectura China, which Alfapeople calls the largest Dynamics VAR in China. AlfaPeople Middle East operates in Jeddah, Saudia Arabia, and Dubai, UAE.

Its general manager, Anas Al-Khalili, was formerly with Columbus IT Middle East, where he held a number of positions from 2007 to 2013 and was the local partner and shareholder for Sitec Information technology. At the Worldwide Partner Conference earlier this month, Alfapeople was chosen the 2013 United States Microsoft Dynamics Retail Partner of Year. Alfapeople moved into the United States two years ago and was very quiet for a while. The press release about the Asia move says the company in this country is emerging from “the startup phase, turning around the office into a profitable business …”
