SAGE SUMMIT EARLY BIRD PRICE SLASHED Featured

Wayne Schulz, Schulz ConsultingSage North America is out to get more customers to its Summit 2014 conference in late July in Las Vegas. The early bird price announced this month was $99 per for the upcoming event on July 28 through 31 at the Mandalay Bay, compared to $995 a year ago. That's right and buy now and we'll send you a set of steak knives. But wait there's more.

Okay, the offer expires January 15, but it does sound like the push is on to raise attendance. And just be clear on who it applies to, the show website notes "offer is valid for Sage customers and accounting professionals with a client base. Sage partners and employees are not eligible for this promotion", which I assume is all normal. Reseller Wayne Schulz says Sage is promising "change in the air" to vendors. That includes elevated traffic. He commented in LinkedIn group this week that "finally partners are seeing information which hints at the Sage City networking event being retired and the 600+ sessions of Sage's prior event being consolidated into what could begin to resemble more of a trade show than a learning event."  Sage is sparing no adjectives in describing the event calling it revolutionary, eye-opening, envelope-pushing, game-changing and trend-setting. Those are the phrases that come to mind when we think of Sage, right? I think "Another summer trip to Vegas, ugh."
