ACT GETS NORTH AMERICAN SALES VP Featured

April Mirabella, SwiftpageCRM vendor Swiftpage has named April Mirabella as SVP of sales for Act North America. Based in Denver Colo. Swiftpage is the company that acquired Act and Saleslogix from Sage North America last year. Mirabella's duties include focusing "heavily on growing the existing Act! customer base as well as introducing and gaining traction with future Act! SaaS offerings." I would assume that since Act was a product on its way out at Sage that growing the customer base aggressively was not one of the priorities.

She was previously director of Intermap Technologies' global channel program from November 2012 through December 2013 and senior director of sales and channels for Symplified from March 2011 of September 2012. In fact, all of the job history shown on her Facebook page is for roles in channel management. Swiftpage which this month introduced Saleslogix 8.1, also announced this week a partnership with Salesfusion, which offers office automation tools such as email marketing, lead scoring, campaign and event management. The companies are marketing a bundled co-branded package that is said to include with expanded feature and data integration. Particularly interesting is that the bundle is available in North America through "Saleslogix's growing network of value added resellers, with other regions to follow." Again, I assume building the Saleslogix channel was not high on Sage's list in the last two years.
