DYNAMICS' STUDER JOINS NETSUITE Featured

Fred Studer, NetSuiteFred Studer, general manager for Microsoft Dynamics, has reportedly joined NetSuite as its chief marketing officer. No announcement has been made and Studer's LinkedIn page still shows him in the job he with started with Microsoft in May 2011. He had been with that company since September 2007. However, I don't see any reason to doubt the source of this news although I have an inquiry sent to NetSuite.

With all the changes under new Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, it's not surprising there are exits by talented people. That includes Quentin Clark, who had been a Microsoft corporate VP for the last eight years, but who joined SAP as chief technology officer last month. I don't remember if NetSuite had a CMO recently, although David Downing held that title from May 2008 through March 2013 when he left for the same position at Zscaler. There has also been some recent movement as Robert Israch, NetSuite's VP of global marketing programs, left in September to become CMO at Tapalti. Israch had been with the cloud software vendor since December 2006. His LinkedIn page says he had 13 employees and a $13 million departmental budget.
