MICROSOFT CONTINUES AX ONSLAUGHT
Read the Dynamics portion of the press release section of Microsoft's Web page and you might come to the conclusion that the software giant has one ERP product, Dynamics AX, not four in its financial application corral. The last three press releases are all from the AX world.
That includes the January introduction of Microsoft Dynamics AX for Retail, perhaps not surprising followed by a release regarding the adoption of that product by Swiss Farms. But the trifecta came this month as the vendor announced that Lattice Semiconductor has adopted Dynamics AX 2009. Microsoft has shown this behavior before in which the profusion of AX press releases gives a strong indication that this is the product that counts for the future.
