SAGE'S SCHEIPE LOSES INTERIM TAG Featured

Marc Scheipe, Sage North AmericaMarc Scheipe, who has been serving as interim president of Sage North America, has lost the interim label. The company has appointed him as president and he will continue to sit on the Sage executive committee, reporting to CEO Steve Kelly. In making the appointment, the company credited Scheipe with hitting financial targets and completing "the first stages of its transformation."

The CFO on this continent, Scheipe got the interim title after Jodi Uecker-Rust left after four months in that role. Words from Kelley announcing the naming sounded like a victory march. Sage said it hit its first 250,000 customers in the cloud and strong performance from Sage 50 and payroll "helped maintain growth." I'm not sure that the latter phrase is the same as saying Sage had the kind of growth the company wanted. Apparently, Sage is not hiring someone with the CEO title for North America, to replace Pascal Houillon who departed that spot in May.
