NETSUITE BUYS IQITY CLOUD BIZ Featured

Dave Gustovich, IQity SolutionsNetSuite has acquired cloud manufacturing software vendor IQity Solutions' cloud business. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The purchase brings to NetSuite the IQity Advanced Manufacturing SuiteApp, which is built on NetSuite. Based in Pittsburgh, Pa., IQity, founded in 2007 by president Dave Gustovich, joined the NetSuite SuiteCloud Developer Network in 2012. The companies say they have about 40 joint customers.

The IQity product provides features for shop floor, resource capacity planning, finite production scheduling, batch work order management, integrated quality management and advanced data collection. NetSuite said with the combination of its products and the IQity application means manufacturers have access to a single cloud system covering manufacturing-specific needs, capabilities for inventory and fulfillment including demand planning, integrated supply chain management, purchasing and vendor management and accounting function. There is also Advanced MES, quality and compliance, shop floor, bar coding, batch control and inspection management.
