Robert Johnson, Ameriflex Robert Johnson, who held key sales positions with Avalara and Sage, has taken the position of national sales director with Ameriflex. Ameriflex offers HR and related products, including OBRA administration and special plan billing services and  compliance services. Johnson was with Timberline/Sage from 1999 through 2011.

Johnson's LinkedIn page says he is "charged with developing and executing on business development and channel strategy for both Ameriflex and the Ameriflex Workforce (Workforce Go!) products and services." Johnson was most recently executive director of sales and marketing and chief revenue officer for MECLABS, a research institute from January 2015 through February 2016. Before that, he served from September 2011 through January 2015 as national sales manager for channels for sales-and-use-tax vendor Avalara. Johnson was with the former Timberline Software from 1999 through 2004 as VP of sales for accounting products and moved to Sage with that company's acquisition of Timberline in 2003. In his final position at Sage, he was senior director of channel programs and readiness from March 2010 through September 2011.
