Daniel Orcutt, MISysManufacturing Information Systems (MISys) has expanded its software development team to work on the next generation of its MISys Inventory Manager. The Woodstock, Ver.-based company has named Daniel Orcutt as director of development to lead the development team and manage outside development efforts. His Linkedin page shows he started in November. Orcutt worked at Woburn, Mass.-based Monotype from August 2007 until returning to his home town.

Joining the software company in December was John Malcolm, taking the job of senior software developer. He worked at Mt. Laurel, N.J.-based Automotive Resources International from August 2012 through December and was technical project lead for his last eight months with that company. The company also hired Jameson Taylor, who had been a student intern, as software developer following his graduation from Vermont Technical College with a double major in Software Engineering and Computer Science.
