Shereen Mahoney, Brittenford SystemsAccounting firm Wipfli has acquired Reston, Va.-based Brittenford Systems. As with the recently announced purchase of BCG & Co.—including its BCG reselling and consulting operations—by Sikich, we have an accounting firm in the Bob Scott Top 100 VARs, acquiring another member of the Top 100. In the 2015 list, the reselling and consulting portion of Wipfli was No. 11 with $37 million in revenue while Brittenford was No.90 with $4.82 million.

With a staff of 30, Brittenford, founded in 1997, offers Dynamics GP and SL and Intacct, and also the Host Analytics application suite of enterprise performance management for finance and accounting in the cloud. The reseller has been led since March 2000 by CEO Shereen Mahoney. She has also been CEO of Brittenford Staffing since January 2012. The staffing company offers Dynamics-trained accounting professionals on a temporary or permanent basis. Besides selling mid-market software, Brittenford also offers CIO Advisory Services. Brittenford's own software includes ExpenseConnect, utilizes Dynamics GP web services to integrate GP and Concur. There is also InvoiceConnect for GP, which utilizes GP eConnect and Concur Web Services to create a secure. Both ExpenseConnect and InvoiceConnect perform the same functions for Intacct's web-based financial software.
