Hafer's group had expected 5,000 attendees, compared to 4,500 last fall. Hafer says 2,000 individuals had signed up at a point at which normally 8 percent to 10 percent of attendees have registered. The pace has Dynamics Communities reaching out to more Tampa-area hotels. There were 3,800 attendees in 2014.

SUMMIT SIGNUPS BOOMING Featured
Registrations for the Dynamic Communities user conferences are booming. With Microsoft abandoning Convergence, the conference landscape has shifted for users seeking content aimed at them. "We are so far ahead of where we usually are," says Andy Hafer, executive director of Dynamics Communities. The organization's events, AXUG Summit, CRMUG Summit, GPUG Summit and NAVUG Summit, are being held in Tampa, Fla., from October 11 through 14.
