The Herndon, Va.-based software company says the downloadable publication discusses concepts of an effective "people" strategy in a way intended to be easy to understand. There are five chapters: Find Qualified Talent... and Hire It Fast!; Don't Lose Your Best Talent; Invest in Your People; Leverage Technology to Manage Talent; Ten Tips to Manage Talent Effectively. "Deltek frequently talks about the 'war for talent' and how the struggle to find and retain top talent is a real problem for all companies, including professional services firms and other project-based businesses that rely on talent to win in the marketplace," Patrick Smith, SVP of marketing, said in a prepared statement.
