Dick ClarkAfter the latest Congressional Republican report, someone asked me what I thought of Benghazi. I said, "I really loved him 'Run for Your Life' and "Anatomy of a Murder." .. Watching late-night TV, I was interested in some of the appearances of people who later became stars. One "Twilight Zone" featured Charles Bronson and Elizabeth Montgomery. I can see it now, "In today's episode of 'Bewitched', Endora places a spell on Darrin and Samantha has to rescue him from a nuclear wasteland.

The current crop of "Perry Mason" episodes is late in the series and features actors who were already known, such as one featuring Jackie Coogan (the child star who became Uncle Fester) and Dick Clark. During testimony Clark's character was asked to describe the music playing at a murder victim's house when he fled the scene. "I can't name it," he replied, "But it's got a good beat and I'd give it a seven." ... The town of Timmonsville, S.C. has adopted a law that provides increasingly stiff penalties for individuals who wear sagging pants that intentionally show their underwear. It is unclear what the impact would be on plumbers and other fixer-uppers who show much more when the bend to work. ... A sinkhole this week swallowed a car outside of a Macdonald's restaurant. Some scientists now speculate that all of Florida may somebody disappear into a giant sink hole. ... A radio interview about dolphin behavior reported that scientists have discovered that dolphins are self-aware—they can recognize themselves in a mirror. This first came to light when a female dolphin turned to her mate and asked, "Do you think this fish makes me look fat?"
