Deforest Kelley, There has been a lot of press about the tendency of batteries in Samsung's devices to catch on fire. My Galaxy Note burst into flames but fortunately I was able to call the fire department. I guess they'll have to tie fire extinguishers into the Internet of Things. Or this could be a chance to develop a notebook with a sprinkler button.

Samsung's website talks about the device's "Power battery, stunning screen." The "stunning stems" from what it does to the user. ... On the fiftieth anniversary of the origin of Star Trek, there are rumors about a possible new Series "Star Trek—The Final Years" in which the crew of the Enterprise pursue finding affordable life insurance. .... Apparently the spaceship's Dr. Leonard McCoy rejected the gift of the Galaxy Note with "I'm a doctor, Jim, not a fireman." .... There's a new Hillary Clinton computer model—it operates very well but quickly runs out of memory. On the other side, it's hard to shut off the Donald Trump computer—it keeps talking no matter what.
