Thomas Honoré, ColumbusColumbus has acquired Cambridge Online Systems, an IT services company based in the United Kingdom. Columbus, a reseller and software developer based in Denmark, said the purchase is designed to help it expand in the Microsoft 365 market, along with growing its cloud and Office 365 business in that country.

"Cambridge Online Systems is a well-established company with a strong customer base, and extensive skills within ERP, CRM and cloud, Columbus CEO Thomas Honoré said in a prepared statement. Founded in 1978, Cambridge has an international customer base. With 71 ERP and CRM specialists, the company had revenue of about $7.1 million for fiscal 2016. The current management team remains with Cambridge, except for managing director David Crabb, who has left the company. His position is being assumed by Mary Hunter, managing director of Columbus UK.
