CHANNEL LEADER HAS LEFT XERO Featured

Amy Vetter, QuickStart TrainingAmy Vetter, a key player in Xero’s North American channel, has exited the cloud accounting software company. In a LinkedIn post this week, Vetter said she left to concentrate on her own business

“I am excited to announce that I am taking the plunge and going into business for myself full time as a professional speaker, board member and advisor at QuickStart Training,” she wrote in the post. Vetter’s LinkedIn profile shows she left Xero last month. She joined Xero in January 2014 and was chief relationship officer and head of accounting from 2015 on. Changes normally follow transitions at the top and on April 1, Steve Vamos replaced founder Rod Drury as CEO. The company had already lost its first-ever VP of communications, Sandy Lo, who was with Xero Americas from September 2017 through last month. You have to wonder what the chances are that Xero will ever gain significant ground on Intuit.
