Scott Ehmen, SageSage will probably add 100 resellers to its channel over the next year. The company is targeting those carrying competing products and is also cultivating Salesforce.com partners, according to Scott Ehmen, VP of North American partners and sales.

 “Our Salesforce partners are turning out to be a great addition to the mix,” says Ehmen. “They are diversifying their portfolios beyond CRM.” He also noted the need to add larger VARs to handle Enterprise Management (formerly X-3). “Our growth is going to come from an expanded ecosystem,” Ehmen says. Resellers on the high-end will need skills in markets served by software publishers such as SAP with applications that have multi-national and multi-lingual capabilities. Playing at that level "requires more rigor, discipline and quality of consulting,” Ehmen says.
