RANDOM THOUGHTS: RIHANNA Featured

Singer Rihanna, DoD News photo by EJ HersomThere’s a report that the North Koreans are willing to talk about nuclear deregulation because the mountain site used for testing collapsed. That reminds me of a Saturday Night Live take off on a famous “I Love Lucy Skit”.

“Now, Mrs. Ricardo your job is to keep these bombs from blowing up the mountain. You have to make sure they don’t reach the end of the belt” and then there’s a loud “Noooooo!” …  One of the upcoming features of the Google Assistant is it can perform tasks for individuals such as making appointments. But the potential for abuse is great when the assistant takes things into its own hands: “QVC?  good morning”. “Hi, would like to buy 1,000 of those diamond bracelets.” Then I check my account and found out Siri had looted my holdings in bitcoins. Then you try to report the theft: “Yeah officer, she doesn’t have a physical appearance. But she has this annoying way of asking me what I want. I don’t know when it happened”. Funny, I keep getting this echo of someone asking, “Would you like to play a game?” … Celebrities dressed as heavenly bodies for the 2018 Met Gala. “Who’s pitching?”, a friend asked. “Not the Mets; The Met, Metropolitan Museum of Art,” I replied. “What’s their won-loss record? “Impressionists, 2, Expressionists 1 and the Surrealists don’t care,” I said with exasperation. The theme was "Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination” with singer, Rihanna, dressed as a Pope in silver. It’s reported she heard two confessions on the way up the red carpet.  One of the tell-tale signs that she was not the real Pope is the Pontiffs generally don't show so much leg. Kanye West, of course, went dressed as Uranus.
