QBO ADVANCED ROLLS OUT Featured

Alex Chriss, IntuitIntuit has debuted QuickBooks Online Advanced after publicly discussing the product for some months. The new application, officially announced this week, supports up to 25 users and Intuit has talked about possibly increasing the user count.

The software company describes the new application as designed for companies which are over-served, generally meaning organizations that buy mid-market products that are more than they need and too expensive. “We can now serve customers who are self-employed all the way to those with hundreds of employees and a high volume of transactions,” Alex Chriss, SVP of the small business self-employed group, said in a prepared statement. Despite the efforts to bring QBO up to the same level as the desktop versions, one reseller told me that hasn’t really happened and QBO Advanced doesn’t measure up to the desktop QuickBooks Enterprise System, which will apparently not be put in the cloud. Advanced has the features of QB Online Plus and Intuit to release Import Invoices functionality and Custom User Permissions “soon”. One benefit for users of both the desktop and cloud versions is the newly created Priority Circle, which provides support and training. Priority Circle clients are assigned dedicated Customer Success Managers, a single point of contact with Intuit, and are also routed toward the front of customer care queues and directs them to top QuickBooks Care experts.
