DYNAMICS B.C., SMB MANAGER LEAVING Featured

Marko Perisic, MicrosoftMarko Perisic, general manager for Dynamics 365 Business Central, is leaving Microsoft. In a LinkedIn post this week, Perisic outlined his plan to enter the HR software space after working with the software company since October 2006. His last day with Microsoft is November 16.

Perisic wrote, “an opportunity presented itself to me which will be even more challenging than what I am doing now in Microsoft”. Based in Copenhagen, Denmark, he had held the GM job since April 2015. That position incudes responsibility for all SMB Dynamics packages—GP, NAV, SL, and C5. As head of the B.C. effort he was at the center of puzzlement and some anger last year when the Dynamics 365 effort seemed to have confusing naming conventions and not much direction. This year, the channel seems extremely happy with the two Dynamics 365 cloud ERP products: B.C., which is Nav in the cloud, and Finance and Operations, AX in the cloud. Perisic had a long-time role with NAV.  He was principal program manager for NAV from April 2011 to October 2013 and director of program management with responsibility for NAV functionality and strategic planning from October 2013 through April 2015.
