The company has been talking about the possibility of establishing a channel for the last few years. But Edwards’ posts on LinkedIn show FForce is pulling the trigger. In one, Edwards noted the opportunity to build a “new reseller channel from the ground up with the top ERP and PSA solutions on the Salesforce platform. Edward posted information about his search this week on LinkedIn. Edwards said the channel director hired will “play a leadership role in driving the growth of our "through partner" revenue and related partner marketing skills and effectiveness.” Edwards was most recently senior director of global channels for General Electric’s Grid Software Solutions from September 2017 through 2018. Before that, he was with Microsoft from 2000 through August 2017 where he held important roles in the Dynamics business. From January 2007 through August 2017, he was director of ERP channel strategy and programs.
